Allan Goldzweig, aka Al St. John, born September 26, 1936 and passed away peacefully October 6, 2022; preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Philip Goldzweig; mourned by his brothers Joseph (the late Margie), Arnold (Tanya), the late Yale (Irene) Goldzweig and their families; beloved by his longtime partner Bill Tetzke for 58 wonderful years. Throw them dice! Graveside service Tuesday 2:00 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Dearest Bill,

I just learned the sad news of Allan’s passing just moments ago – but just enough time to join the service shortly, I’ll be there. I’m so, so very sorry – if there ever was an understatement.

It was always a pleasure to see both of you pretty much every time I had lunch at the Ten. You guys were like two peas in a pod and anyone could tell how dedicated both of you were.
